The team of public representatives and officials led by the deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali appealed to Naidu to release more funds for the Godavari pushkarams as only Rs 50 crore was given so far and also sought pending funds from the JNNURM for 200 buses for Hyderabad.

The team later met Union Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar and appealed to him to intervene in the road disputes of the GHMC with the Cantonment Board and resolve the same.
