GHMC issues Rs 22 crore tax on AP Secretariat

Andhra Pradesh Secretariat in Hyderabad on Thursday received a tax notice of Rs 22 crore from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation where the authorities have been asked to pay tax dues immediately.

Earlier, AP officials had claimed that they will not pay tax dues for the buildings owned by the Telangana government. Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister Atchannaidu had even alleged that AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was denied permission by the Telangana government to construct house in Hyderabad stating that the GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar was workinh on behalf of the TRS party.
