For this purpose, he is personally visiting the temple town on Thursday. Rao will be offering prayers in the temple, considered to be one of the oldest shrines in Telangana region.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to take stock of the situation in centuries-old Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada. For this purpose, he is personally visiting the temple town on Thursday. Rao will be offering prayers in the temple, considered to be one of the oldest shrines in Telangana region.

Later, he will chair a review meeting with district officials on temple development.KCR is expected to announce big plans to develop the shrine on this occasion. It may be mentioned here that Telangana government decided to develop Yadagirigutta temple on par with Tirumala during its tenure.
