PIL seeks transfer of cash for vote case from ACB to CBI

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed in the Hyderabad High Court on the Cash-for-vote scam. An advocate, PV Krishnaiah filed a PIL seeking the court to transfer the cash-for-vote case to the CBI from ACB.

In the petition, he mentioned that the ACB cannot act independently like CBI as it is under the control of Telangana government. The petitioner also sought a stay on ongoing probe by the ACB and transfer of case to the CBI.
