The Hans India staff photographer Nagaraju Devara Vemuluri has been selected for prestigious Telugu Association of North America (Tana) award for his photography on Indian rural life and culture.He has been invited by Tana to receive the award and as the special guest at 20th Tana conference which will be held from July 2 to 4 at COBO Centre, Detroit, US.

Hyderabad: The Hans India staff photographer Nagaraju Devara Vemuluri has been selected for prestigious Telugu Association of North America (Tana) award for his photography on Indian rural life and culture.He has been invited by Tana to receive the award and as the special guest at 20th Tana conference which will be held from July 2 to 4 at COBO Centre, Detroit, US.


Currently, Nagaraju Devara is working as staff photographer for this newspaper in Khammam district. He did his diploma from JNTU Fine Arts College, Hyderabad. Nagaraju has specialised in elevating culture of rural and tribal areas through his photos. His photos got national and State awards in the past. Tana is the oldest and largest Telugu association in North America, serving the Telugu community for the past 38 years.
