Telangana Finance Minister Eatala Rajender was back to work in Secretariat on Wednesday. Scores of finance department employees and senior IAS officers visited his chambers to greet the minister, who resumed his official duties within a week after undergoing knee surgery at a private hospital.

Hyderabad: Telangana Finance Minister Eatala Rajender was back to work in Secretariat on Wednesday. Scores of finance department employees and senior IAS officers visited his chambers to greet the minister, who resumed his official duties within a week after undergoing knee surgery at a private hospital.
It may be mentioned here that Eatala met with an accident while on his way to Karimnagar on June 13. The bullet-proof car in which he was travelling hit a tipper, while overtaking it, resulting in injuries to the Minister and his personal assistant. After treatment in a local hospital, he was shifted to a private hospital the same night.
