Mend your ways: TRS to Revanth

Hyderabad: Taking strong objection to the remarks made by TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy after his release from Cherlapally jail on bail on Wednesday, Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Mahender Reddy, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Dr C Lakshma Reddy warned him of dire consequences if failed to mend his ways.

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here on Thursday, the Ministers sought to know whether Revanth had done some rare feat or achieved something that was impossible in conducting a rally from the jail to NTR Trust Bhavan. Even Gandhiji, did not celebrate this way for achieving Independence, Tummala said.

Jupally said the TDP MLA did not possess the stature to criticise the Chief Minister. Instead of striving for Bangaru Telangana goal, Revanth Reddy was acting an agent of an Andhra party and dancing to the tunes of its chief, he said. They fumed at the TD leader for twirling moustache and throwing a challenge by hitting on his thigh.

Though he came out of jail on bail for time being, Revanth would finally end up behind bars, they said. There was no comparison between KCR and Naidu as the former had championed the cause of new State and the latter was indulging corrupt practices, they added.
