Prez to visit Yadadri on July 5. President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Yadadri temple to offer prayers to Lord Narasimha Swamy on Friday. Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will accompany him.

This programme was not included in the initial tour schedule released by Rashtrapati Bhavan. However, changes were made after Pranab decided to visit one of the historic shrines in the new State.
It may be mentioned here that Telangana government had already extended invitation to him to visit the temple town for prayers and for flagging off Haritha Haram programme. With protocol limitations barring President from participating in the afforestation drive, Pranab decided to visit the temple town to offer prayers.
Soon after reaching Hyderabad, Pranab went to Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Balaji on Wednesday. Meanwhile, changes were effected in the Chief Minister's Haritha Haram programme in the wake of President's visit to Yadadri.
