Hyderabad: The Telangana government will give free land for establishing Hyderabad Public School in Warangal. Not just the free land, the government has agreed to give an interest free loan of Rs 15 crore. “Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has agreed to give free and interest-free loan to HPS for setting up its branch in Warangal,” said a source.


The school requires land ranging between 25 to 50 acres of land. The school will be operational with primary section from the current academic and will follow Central Board of Secondary Education syllabus. “We cannot start all classes at a time as it is against CBSE norms. Over the years, the classes will be added.

By going for CBSE syllabus, students can compete with others in all national level examinations,” said an official. The Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for the school on July 10. According to sources, the school will come up in the land of Kakatiya University.
