VH warns of clipping Naidu’s wings in Hyd. Congress Rajya Sabha member, V Hanumantha Rao, on Monday threatened the Telugu Desam leadership of obstructing AP Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu’s activities in Hyderabad if the party went ahead with its proposed dharna against AICC vice-president, Rahul Gandhi.
TDP PROTEST PLAN AGAINST RAHUL’S VISIT
New Delhi: Congress Rajya Sabha member, V Hanumantha Rao, on Monday threatened the Telugu Desam leadership of obstructing AP Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu’s activities in Hyderabad if the party went ahead with its proposed dharna against AICC vice-president, Rahul Gandhi.
Referring to the proposed dharna plan of the TDP leaders during Rahul Gandhi's AP visit later this month, Hanumantha Rao, said it was not fair on part of the TDP to do so. But, in case, it stages a dharna or any kind of protest, the ruling party of AP must be prepared for a tit- for- tat response from the Congress party. He said he would not allow Chandrababu Naidu to move around in the common capital of Hyderabad or anywhere in Telangana and also in Andhra Pradesh.
