RTI petition reveals TRS Minister Talasani Yadav violated anti-defection law

Telangana Rashtra Samiti government in Telangana is under scrutiny with an RTI query revealing that TRS leader and Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Yadav has violated the anti-defection law.

The TRS leader who had made the switch from TDP to TRS was appointed as a Cabinet Minister without officially resigning from the TDP indicating that Mr Yadav was appointed as a Cabinet minister unconstitutionally under the anti-defection law.

Congress leader Venkata Ramana Reddy had filed the RTI query and the party has demanded Yadav's disqualification.
