Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau could pin down Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the charge-sheet filed in the cash for vote scam. The Chief Minister has been repeatedly mentioned as 'Naidu', 'Babu' and 'Boss' in the conversations of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy with TRS MLA Elvis Stephenson.

A report from Times of India states that the charge sheet that runs 25 pages long, with 319 documents filed as evidence and 39 witness statements will have dirty money trail. Initially, the FIR was lodged that accused four individuals in the scam on May 31.

ACB special public prosecutor V Surender Rao was quoted saying that Chandrababu Naidu's name was mentioned in the charge-sheet after taking statement of complainant Elvis Stephenson recorded by a magistrate under Section 164 of the CrPC and conversation details into consideration. Mr Rao also added that the call authenticity has been verified by the Forensic Science Lab.

The telephonic conversation has the prime accused Revanth Reddy and Harry Sebastian mentioning 'Naidu' and 'Boss' several times clearly stating that Stephenson could obtain several aids from ‘Naidu’ if he voted for TDP nominee in TLC elections.
