The PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Monday directed Director, School Education Telangana to respond to allegations of non-availability of teachers in 9 government schools in the district of Mahboobnagar. The bench was dealing with letters written by around 1667 students from these schools in Gattu and Aija mandals. Expressing anguish at the manner in which the students were being treated, the bench directed the official to respond by Thursday and adjourned the matter.
