Devadula gets govt nod

The Telangana government on Tuesday gave administrative approval for the long-pending Devadula project in Warangal district. Chief Engineer of the Godavari Lift Irrigation Scheme has been asked to conduct a survey of levelling operations, geological exploration and prepare a detailed project report for the construction of the barrage near Durgamgutta, Jangaram village in Eturunagaram mandal.

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday gave administrative approval for the long-pending Devadula project in Warangal district. Chief Engineer of the Godavari Lift Irrigation Scheme has been asked to conduct a survey of levelling operations, geological exploration and prepare a detailed project report for the construction of the barrage near Durgamgutta, Jangaram village in Eturunagaram mandal. Also permission was given for the design of conveyance system for lifting additional water of 22 tmc, including pump house and en route storage reservoirs. A GO to this effect has been issued by the government.
