It is learnt that the Telangana CM informed about the development to DS over the phone in the morning.
DS, a backward class leader, twice served as the president of the Congress's Andhra Pradesh unit and recently quit the Congress to join the TRS.
There were reports that DS has been offered MLC seat under local body quota and also a ministerial berth in KCR cabinet. In 2019, his son may be fielded in place of DS.
