Hyderabad: The Department of Critical Care, MaxCure Hospitals and the Hyderabad Chapter of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) have joined hands to take the Critical Care and Intensive Care to the next level by adopting latest advances and treatment protocols being applied in global health care.


The 3-day Hyderabad Intensive Care Symposium being organised from August 21 on its 6th Annual Update has invited leading doctors holding authority in Critical Care from across the country. Renowned experts from Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru shared their experiences with more than 300 young doctors who are involved in caring for critically ill patients.


Speaking during the occasion, Dr Srinivas Samavedam, National executive committee member, ISCCM described the symposium as a platform upgrading medical fraternity to deliver the best care. Hyderabad, being the medical hub, India has some of the best equipped ICUs in the country with large volumes.

It made it imperative for Hyderabad to have such events on a regular basis to serve the vast Critical Care traffic with the most advanced life saving treatment solutions.Dr Ganshyam, secretary ISCCM Hyderabad chapter, described it as a healthy knowledge sharingsession. Dr Atul Kulkarni, president ISCCM, Dr Pradeep Rangappa, south one representative, ISCCM, Dr Rajesh Mishra, national executive committee member, ISCCM also spoke.
