Hyderabad: Nalgonda MLA and former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the expenditure incurred by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on China tour would have been sufficient to meet loan waiver to farmers.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Komatireddy ridiculed the statements of Major Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao over Congress protests. He advised Harish Rao to read news reports on farmers’ suicides every day.
He said Chandrashekar Rao should not forget the fact that even former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao had also lost elections due to public resentment. Chandrashekar Rao should not dream that he would rule the forever, he said.
