UoH students protest against proposal
A circular by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) pertaining to setting up of police outpost on the campus has stirred up protests in the University of Hyderabad (UoH). At the general body meeting of the elected student union of UoH on Tuesday, the students decided to address a letter to the MHRD protesting against establishment of police outpost on the campus.

Hyderabad: A circular by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) pertaining to setting up of police outpost on the campus has stirred up protests in the University of Hyderabad (UoH).
At the general body meeting of the elected student union of UoH on Tuesday, the students decided to address a letter to the MHRD protesting against establishment of police outpost on the campus.
The general body meeting at DST auditorium, attended by 823 students, witnessed the youth expressing their anger over the MHRD circular to set up police outpost on the campus. An unanimous resolution was adopted against police outpost on the campus.
The students also protested against the MHRD framing the code of conduct without holding consultations with the student community.
