Speaking at the meeting, the leaders, who met on Thursday at Maqdoom Bhavan, unanimously felt that the alleged encounter was stage-managed by the government, and condemned it. Recalling that TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao had declared that they would follow the Maoists agenda has opened an account of fake encounters, with the one in Warangal district recently.

They called upon democracy lovers to participate in the Chalo Assembly programme and make it a grand success. Telangana State CPI secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, State CPI-M secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram, Telangana United Front president Vimalakka, CLC leader Prof Haragopal, Telangana Vedika president Cheruku Sudhakar and others were present at the meeting.
