Karimnagar: CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy said that they will finalise their candidate for Warangal Lok Sabha by-election on September 29.

All left parties would meet on that day and come to an understanding on the election. Speaking to reporters here on Friday,

Venkat Reddy questioned whether killing Maoists in fake encounters was the agenda of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

He made this comment while recollecting KCR’s statement that Naxalites’ agenda was also the agenda of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi party.

Modern vehicles have been given to police to protect the lives of the public but not to kill people, he opined. Stating that they have formed Telangana Prajaswamika Vedika to control the misdeeds of the government,

the CPI leader said they also decided to organise ‘Chalo Assembly’ programme on September 30 to register their protest against the recent encounter of Maoists at Govindaraopet in Warangal district.
