The two-judge PIL bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt directed the MBA colleges to give undertaking by Thursday that they would abide by the court orders and shall rectify all the defects pointed out in the joint inspection conducted at the instance of the court.

The bench was dealing with a batch of writ appeals filed against the order passed by the single judge wherein the colleges challenged the action of the JNTU in rejecting affiliation to 11 out of the 14 approved courses and adjourned the matter for 6 weeks.

It is the case of the colleges that once the AICTE grants them approval the affiliation by the University cannot be a ground to yet again look at the factors based upon which the approvals were granted.
