Wallposter for protest march released

Hyderabad: Various people’s organisations and political parties are preparing for holding a protest rally to Assembly in support of their demand for an end to “fake encounters” on Wednesday. The organisers are expecting that a large number of people will take part in the “Chalo Assembly” rally.

Releasing a wallposter for the rally, Virasam leader Varavara Rao, CPI leader Aziz Pasha, MBT leader Amjadullah Khan, Vimalakka, Mohammed Ahmed and others said the “chalo Assembly” rally would start from Sundarayya Vignana Kendram at Bagh Lingampally at 11 am. The focus of the rally is on recent encounter in which two Maoists, including a woman, were killed in Warangal district.

“We are expecting that a large number of people belonging to 400 people’s organisations and 10 political parties will take part in the protest rally,” they said. They demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao own moral responsibility for the “cold-blooded murder of Maoists, Sruthi and Vidya Sagar, in a fake encounter” in the Eturunagaram (Medaram) forest area in Warangal district.

They urged the government to order a judicial probe by a sitting judge. The leaders recalled that TRS chief KCR vowed to ensure that there were no encounters in Telangana State. But, after becoming the Chief Minister, KCR went back on his promise. They cited “killings of Viqaruddin and his four associates in the past and two Maoists recently” as a proof of their charge against the Chief Minister.
