The Telangana state is slowly getting the dubious distinction of topping the country in farmers suicides. During the last one year, hundreds of farmers have committed suicides.
The opposition parties have joined together to corner the TRS Government on suicides.
The TDP has initiated a bus tour to meet the farmer families who committed suicide. Flagging off the bus tour, Telangana TDP working president Revanth Reddy requested the Telugu film stars to come forward and help the farmers.
He appealed to the film stars and industrialists to lend a helping hand to farmers.
It remains to be seen how many stars will come forward to help farmers.
