Nizamabad: Congress MLC and former Andhra Pradesh Women’s Congress president Akula Lalita has been appointed general secretary of All India Women’s Congress.
AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi on Tuesday announced that party vice-president Rahul Gandhi appointed Lalita as Women’s wing All India General Secretary.
Dwivedi on Tuesday released the appointment order, which said that party vice-president Rahul Gandhi approved the appointment of Mahila Congress National level committee.
