Chandrababu Naidu to invite KCR personally

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will personally call on his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao at his residence in Hyderabad and invite him for the foundation ceremony of AP capital city Amaravati to be held on October 22.

This decision was taken at the marathon eight-hour-long Cabinet meeting held here on Saturday. Naidu told his Cabinet colleagues that he would personally meet KCR and Governor ESL Narasimhan on October 18 and will invite them to attend the ceremony.

Also, the AP ministers will meet TS ministers and invite them for the ceremony. According to Naidu, they have received confirmation of participation from a Japanese minister and Singapore minister Eswaran about their participation in the function. He also released the four-page invitation card of the ceremony.

Film directors Rajamouli and Boyapati Sreenu will be designing the stage in such a way that it would be camera-friendly so that all those watching the live telecast which would be shown not only on TV channels but also on LED screens at the venue will have a clear view of the proceedings.

These two directors had designed the Godavari Harathi sets.According to officials, about several chartered flights are likely to land at Gannavaram airport. About 15 helipads are being readied.

Lunch arrangements for about 1500 dignitaries are being made and the menu would be a mix of international and Andhra cuisine. Parking arrangement for various vehicles is being made in an area of 500 acres.
