Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Tuesday directed the district collectors to make sure that there is no corruption in the housing scheme.

Speaking at a review meeting at Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resources Centre in Hyderabad, the Telangana CM has warned of serious action if anyone found guilty of corruption.

"The housing scheme should protect the self-dignity of the poor. We must make sure that there will be no corrupt practices while implementing the scheme. 60,000 houses will be constructed this year for the poor people in the state," KCR said. He also reviewed the progress of the several schemes of the Government including Jalaharam and Harithaharam.
