Revanth Reddy reiterates charge against govt

Hyderabad: TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday reiterated the allegations that the government was supplying substandard rice to social welfare hostels. Speaking to media persons here, Revanth Reddy said he was ready to prove the allegations that normal rice was being polished and supplied to hostels instead of fine rice.

Stating that he was ready to prove his allegations, he accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao of shielding the “rice mafia.” He said a huge quantity of fine rice was being diverted to black market meant for residential schools. Revanth Reddy said while mining, liquor and sand mafia was active earlier, now the rice mafia was spreading its tentacles in Telangana State.
