UoH Post-Doctoral Fellows for US tour. Three Post-Doctoral Fellows and a guest faculty of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) have been selected as part of the US study tour of scholars.
Hyderabad: Three Post-Doctoral Fellows and a guest faculty of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) have been selected as part of the US study tour of scholars. The visit has been arranged by the University Grants Commission and Ambedkar Foundation under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as part of the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Dr Bondyalu Banothu of Hindi, Dr G Raju and Dr Dilip Kumar Jawhar of Centre for Dalit and Adivasi Studies and Translation (CDAST); and Dr Gopi Nag Subbarao of Centre for Ambedkar Studies has been selected for the study tour to Columbia University, New York and Washington DC.
The candidates have been selected for their research and publications on the philosophy of Dr Ambedkar and on issues related to social justice. As part of this the Ambedkar Foundation is making a study tour to Columbia University, New York, USA and London School of Economics, UK. The study tour is organised between October 12 and 25.
