Hyderabad: The muhurat for inauguration of T-Hub, India’s largest incubator for Start-up companies, has been set. It will be thrown open to budding entrepreneurs from November 5.

Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, will be the Chief Guest at the event. Governor E S L Narasimhan will also be present.

It may be mentioned here that T-Hub was to have been inaugurated on September 7, but was postponed due to busy schedule of the chief guest.

T-Hub is the brainchild of Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao. It is coming up in 65,000 square feet area in premises of IIIT (International Institute of Information Technology) campus at Gachibowli.

It will be one of its kind platforms for aspiring IT entrepreneurs to transform their ideas and dreams into a reality and make their presence at the global level.

Start-up companies, which are in any of the three stages- launch, accelerator and propeller, would be given an opportunity to join T-Hub.

They would be assisted by T-Hub regarding business, technology, Intellectual Property and other issues relating to their product.

Around 170 start-up companies and 800 individuals would be given opportunity in phase-1. The phase-2 of T Hub, which will be built in 3 lakh square feet area would be taken up in Raidurg.

KTR is hopeful of budding entrepreneurs utilise this golden opportunity and come up with innovations even surpassing Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.
