Justice B Sudarshan Reddy Hyderabad: Stating that the democratisation of polity and administration in Telangana is yet to take place, eminent Jurist Justice B Sudarshan Reddy exhorted the civil society to question. Speaking after releasing the book, ‘Unveiling Telangana’ written by K Ramachandra Murthy, he said silence is the dreaded disease in democracy.

Questioning is inevitable when unwarranted things happen. They are happening. The people who carried them on their shoulders should question, he urged. The book is the compilation of author’s articles published in The Hans India, when he was the editor.

Speaking on the occasion, Political JAC Chairman, Prof M Kodandaram remarked that people of Telangana did not just envision a geographical Telangana but its reconstruction. “Wherever I go, everyone is asking me. Are our dreams met? When I tell them we should still give time, their reply is: Was the way being laid?” he said.

Noted educationist Chukka Ramaiah urged the leaders to introspect on what they have said during the movement for separate state and what is being done now. Editors of several Telugu and English newspapers participated in the book release function presided over by senior journalist Potturi Venkateswara Rao.
