Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao criticized Governor ESL Narasimhan for saying that there was no scope of corruption in the states under his rule and dared the governor to face CBI probe to prove his statements.
The Congress leader questioned the Governor as why he was not responding to the issue of farmers suicides.
Also, Governor Narasimhan calling TDP Telangana Working President Revanth Reddy a gutsy leader has not gone down well with Hanumantha Rao. The Governor who met Revanth Reddy on Monday where the former recalled an incident where the TDP Legislator pulled his Chair in the State Assembly and thus called him a gutsy leader.
Revanth Reddy in response stated that TRS Leader Harish Rao was one among those who pulled his chair but the Governor remembered only him in the incident. The TDP leaders who were present at the meet elaborated to the Governor that the situation that took place at that time led to them to being a bit aggressive.
