Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Digvijay Singh alleged that the TRS government did nothing during one and-a-half-year rule. The Chief Minister had showered promises on people but never implemented them, he quipped.

The Congress leader said KCR had sent out the Opposition members from the Assembly like a dictator and was not in a position to relieve the plight of farmers in the State. The farmers were not getting new loans as the government had failed to implement the loan waiver scheme through one-time payment to banks, he said.

As the TRS government failed to help them by waiving their crop loans, the farmers were forced to take loans from greedy moneylenders at exorbitant interest rate, he said, adding that the government also failed to distribute three acre land to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as promised on the eve of Assembly elections.
