Hyderabad: The Revenue officials’ sudden action almost cost a man his life when they started demolishing his house unaware that he was sleeping inside.
According to information, Revenue officials started a demolition drive at Devendernagar under Jawaharnagar limits in Secunderabad on Saturday after deeming it unauthorised.
The officials straightaway started bulldozing one of the houses unaware that a resident Srinivas was present inside. Srinivas yelled immediately when a wall fell on him. Realising their mistake, the officials shifted him to a hospital in Dammaiguda.
The condition of the injured is stated to be critical. The locals expressed displeasure stating that this was criminal negligence on the part of officials.
