Hyderabad : Demanding that the Centre order an inquiry into the ‘cash-for-vote’ and ‘phone tapping’ cases, Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy has alleged that an agreement was reached between Chief Ministers N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrashekar Rao not to expose mistakes of each other.

Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Saturday, Jeevan Reddy questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi as to how the latter could shake hands with the Chief Ministers, who were facing serious charges. He likened both KCR and Chandrababu Naidu as dacoits, who shared villages. He also demanded that the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments disclose what has happened to the ‘cash-for-vote’ and ‘phone tapping’ cases.

He asked both the Chief Ministers, who traded charges on ‘cash-for-vote’ and ‘phone tapping’ cases, why they were not speaking about those cases. “It seems both the Chief Ministers reached a compromise in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who attended foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravati city. He faulted the Prime Minister for encouraging both the CMs to forge an unholy agreement making mockery of democracy.
