A 45-year-old woman farmer Lakshmi committed suicide due to mounting debts in Katkuru village of Bheemdevarapalli mandal in Karimnagar on Sunday.
Lakshmi who owned two acres of land cultivating cotton and took a loan of Rs four lakh as an investment. But as she was not able to return the amount, Lakshmi took the extreme step by consuming pesticide.
