Couple ends lives . A 29-year-old man, working with the Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), allegedly committed suicide along with his wife by hanging themselves at their quarters in DAE Colony, police said on Tuesday.

Diwakar, working as a Technician in ‘D’ category at NFC and his wife Himani Devi (27) were found hanging to the ceiling fan of their house by neighbours and others on Tuesday morning, Kushaiguda Police Station Inspector N Venkata Ramana said.
As per preliminary investigations, the couple resorted to the extreme step due to family dispute, the Inspector said, adding that around four days ago, though their relatives had asked the couple not to quarrel, they again fought on Monday and even Diwakar allegedly slapped her.
Diwakar hailed from Dehradun, while Himani belonged to Himachal Pradesh. They got married in February this year, the police officer said. “As per the scene, it clearly indicates that one of them attempted suicide while another tried to stop it, but later both of them committed suicide,” Ramana said.
