Hyderabad: A 33 member Vietnam delegation led by MP Vu Xuvan Hong on Wednesday visited Hyderabad and participated in a meeting organised by the Communist Party India, Telangana unit. CPI Assistant Secretary Palla Venkat Reddy explained to the delegation that during the period of Independence,

people of Telangana waged glorious armed struggle against Nizam’s tyranny, bonded labour, and fought for land to the tiller under the leadership of the united Communist Party.

After offering a Red Salute to Hochi-Minh, Venkat Reddy hoped that the fraternal relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and Communist Party of India would be built.

Speaking on the occasion, Vu Xuvan Hong thanked CPI for expressing its solidarity and extending its support Vietnam’s struggle for independence.

Hailing Vietnam Communist Party, Palla Venkat Reddy said they had fought heroically against American Imperialism. Vietnam people had taught a lesson to warmongers and expansionists under the leadership of Ho-Chi-Minh. The mighty US imperialism was driven out of Vietnam at last, he said.
