Hyderabad: In the near future, pilgrims from Telangana State need not have accommodation worries when they visit the holy Sabarimala temple in Kerala. The efforts of TRS government to building a satram at the holy place have gained momentum this week.
Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy will be visiting Kerala to take this proposal further. After attending the meeting of southern States, Endowment Ministers is slated to visit Kerala on October 29 and he will be holding discussions with the Kerala government.
According to Endowment department officials, TS and Kerala are likely to enter into an MoU on construction of Telangana Bhavan in five acres of land near Sabarimala.
It may be mentioned here that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao allotted land for construction of Kerala Bhavan to benefit thousands of Malayali families settled in Hyderabad.
