Sarve met AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh and discussed at length on the by poll. Digvijaya Singh held talks with leaders from Warangal and took stock of the situation.Speaking to the media after meeting Digvijaya, Sarve said that he was ready to contest if the Congress High Command favored him. He also said that he requested Digvijaya to field a candidate from the Madiga community and opposed the candidature of Vivek saying he came from the TRS party.
