Hyderabad: TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka questioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao why he was not responding on CBI interrogation. Bhatti said the Congress would approach the Supreme Court demanding that the government order an inquiry into the PF scam.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, Bhatti asked how Chandrashekar Rao could continue in the Chief Minister’s post when he had sacked the then Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on corruption charges. “Doesn’t the same rule apply in case of Chandrashekar Rao?” he asked. He also asked Chandrashekar Rao to tell whether he would resign or would punish himself. He also asked Chandrashekar Rao to open his mouth on CBI inquiry.

Stating that Chandrashekar Rao dismissed Rajaiah by giving leaks to the media with regard to Rajaiah’s alleged irregularities, Bhatti asked Chandrashekar Rao’s supporters, who said they would not keep quiet if anyone criticised the Chief Minister, why they were not opening their mouths. He alleged that Chandrashekar Rao’s family members were looting the resources in Telangana State.
