Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao on Tuesday met Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati in New Delhi where he requested for the grant of national status to Pranahita-Chevella irrigation project.
Urging her fulfil the promise made to Telangana state, Harish Rao informed Uma Bharati that a revised DPR would be sent to Centre soon. He also sought for the release of pending funds for irrigation projects and invited her to attend the foundation ceremony for Mission Kakatiya phase-2 works.
