NITI Aayog appreciates Mission Kakatiya

Mahabubnagar: Members from NITI (National Institution for Transforming India) Aayog on Thursday examined the works undertaken under Mission Kakatiya programme in Mahbubnagar district.

The AaYOG team, led by Raheel Khursheed, visited various mandals in Mahbubnagar district to take stock of progress of mission Kakatiya programme in the district.

As part of this, the members examined restoration works on Ranganayaka, the largest tank at Polepally village under Jadcherla mandal. The members also interacted with the officials and the people to find out the impact of the Mission Kakatiya and how the massive programme had brought a change in their lives.

Expressing satisfaction, the Ayog members also said NITI Aayog too has plans to further develop the Ranganayaka Tank into a tourist spot.

The Aayog members also visited Kalluru village under Addakal mandal and Jurala Project in Atmakur mandal. District officials Narsing Rao, Executive Engineer, and Narsimhulu, Assistant Engineer accompanied the team.
