Each SCCL employee to get 48k bonus
Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Friday released Rs 270 crore as Diwali bonus to all the employees working at mines and in administrative offices in the State.
Hyderabad : Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Friday released Rs 270 crore as Diwali bonus to all the employees working at mines and in administrative offices in the State.
Distributing cheques to workers at the head office, the SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar said the bonus was released under Performance Linked under Reward Scheme (PLRC) and would be given to every employee of the company.
The bonus amount had been increased by 21 per cent when compared to last year. With the concerted efforts of the management and the workers, there was all-round improvement. Each employee would get Rs 48, 500 bonus as against Rs 40000 last year.
Stating that the company had achieved 322 lakh tonnes of coal mining by surpassing the target of 298 lakh metric tonnes till October this year, the official said and hoped the coal company would achieve the target of 600 lakh tonnes of coal mining by March.
