GHMC chief: Polls to be held as per Jan 2015 electoral list

With the political parties protesting over the the delimitation of wards and 6.50 lakh votes deletion from the electoral list, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy came forward with a statement that the GHMC elections would be held as per the revised electoral list of January 2015.

With the political parties protesting over the the delimitation of wards and 6.50 lakh votes deletion from the electoral list, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy came forward with a statement that the GHMC elections would be held as per the revised electoral list of January 2015.
He further added that according to the rules of the Election Commission, the revised electoral list published in January 2015 is being taken into consideration.
