The Bihar Assembly poll results may have an impact on the Warangal by-poll in Telangana. The Bihar election grabbed the attention of the entire country and it will have bearings on the state politics too.
The Congress party is already in a tight fix over the Warangal tragedy and the arrest of former Congress MP Siricilla Rajaiah. Though the Congress party has suspended Rajaiah as part of the damage control, the tragedy may show a strong impact on the by-poll.
Now, the BJP's humiliating defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections has come as a major shock to the the state BJP leaders. However, the BJP leaders are confident that they would campaign extensively in Warangal and corner the TRS government on several issues.
