Union Minister Hansraj Gangaram Ahir listed out the development works of the BJP government in a public meeting in Bhupalpally on Sunday and said that the central government plans to develop Warangal as the second capital of Telangana.

Stating that the Central government is committed to the development of Telangana, the Union Minister said that Warangal is already included in the schemes - Smart City mission, HRIDAY and AMRUT. He further said that a lot is possible if people elect an educated and able person such as the BJP candidate as the MP in Warangal.

Mr Ahir said that faster development could be witnessed in Telangana and Warangal if Dr Devaiah is elected. The Union Minister also announced the two trains initiation after the by-election connecting Telangana – one from Kazipet to Mumbai, another to Wardha.

BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s cabinet does not include even a single woman reflecting how much respect he holds for women and asked the people to vote wisely. The meeting witnessed participation from TDLP leader E Dayakar Rao, Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, TD leaders A Revanth Reddy, Motkupalli Narasimhulu, G Mohan Rao and others.
