The students of Maulana Azad National Urdu University took a candle-lit march on Sunday (November 15) night to express their pain and anguish over the killing of innocent people in Paris.

Hyderabad:The students of Maulana Azad National Urdu University took a candle-lit march on Sunday (November 15) night to express their pain and anguish over the killing of innocent people in Paris.

The students, both boys and girls, condiment the terrorist attacks in strong terms and said that the perpetrators heinous do not belong to any religion.

The students were carrying placards which read, “Stop Killing Innocents", "All lives Matter", and "We pray for peace from Paris to Palestine".

Some slogans on the placards also condemned selective outrage shown by the media world over and for ignoring the killings of innocent lives in various countries like Palestine, Syria, Iraq, and Myanmar etc.

Speaking the end of the rally one of the students said that the world leaders should stop being selective in expressing anger over killings of the innocent. They should condemn terrorism and violence wherever it is taking place.

Mohammed Aqib Nazar, former vice-President of Manuu Student Union, said that that terrorists have no religion but “unfortunately we live in times where people kill in the name of religion.”

Those who led the rally included Zahid Iqbal, Siraj Azad,Umar Farooque, Tajamul, Zaffar Wani,Sahab Ansari and Mudabeer Hassan.
