The Petitioner is a victim of case of acid thrown.

According to the Petitioner in August 2012 the accused person who had earlier borrowed money from him visited him and threw acid on him. The Petitioner pointed out to a direction of the Supreme Court which require every State government to pay a minimum of Rs. 3 lakh to the victim of acid attacks.
