Khammam MP to launch two-day fast from today
Telangana State YSR Congress Party president and Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that he would launch a two-day fast at Dharna Chowk in Khammam on Monday demanding the government solve people’s issues.

Talking to the media at the party office here on Sunday, the MP said, “People thought they can live happily in the newly formed Telangana State but they are totally disappointed.
The TRS government is boasting that it is the richest State in the country but showing discrimination and behaving stubbornly with the farming community.” Srinivas Reddy observed the suicides of several farmers could have been averted if the State government had allotted special funds for increasing the minimum support price for the produce.
Reminding that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had visited Khammam district only once which has been facing many problems, he accused KCR of showing discrimination against the district. The MP said that he would take up the issues of the people, especially that of the farmers with the Centre in the upcoming parliamentary session.
