Participating in the Indian Constitution Day celebrations organised by SBH SC, ST Employees Welfare Association in SBH Head Office at Gunfoundry here on Thursday, Raju Parmar said while many people, who were benefitted by the reservation policy and occupied high posts, there were still huge number of people belonging to these sections were living in abject poverty.

Therefore, paying back to the society by the beneficiaries would be the real and biggest tribute to father of the Constitution B R Ambedkar, he said, adding that the beneficiaries should not forget about their unfortunate brethren. He also pointed out that the reservation policy also helped women and workers getting equal opportunities.

Speaking on the occasion, SBH Managing Director Shantanu Mukherjee hailed the Indian Constitution as the best in the world. He assured the employees that the management would strive to solve all the legitimate demands of the employees.

All India SBH SC, ST Employees Welfare Association general secretary P Narsimha said even a tea vendor like Narendra Modi could become Prime Minister due to Constitution.

SBH CGM Viswanatham, SBH Staff Association president S B Rajasekhar, SC, ST Commission regional directors Hanumanth Rao, Ajay Kumar and several others were present.
